Former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg launches 2020 presidential bid saying, “we can’t afford four more years of Donald Trump’s unethical and reckless actions.”
Bloomberg’s launch comes days after he apologized for the “stop and frisk” policy that disproportionately targeted black and brown people. He has some obstacles to overcome with black voters though I don’t believe they are insurmontable. Bloomberg touted the endorsement of Augusta mayor Hardie Davis, Jr.
Bloomberg will be an intriguing candidate because has the resources to go far. He will do well, not just on television ads, but he will also be competitive in the digital space, which Donald Trump has managed to outspend Democrats.
I’m running for president to defeat Donald Trump and rebuild America.
I believe my unique set of experiences in business, government, and philanthropy will enable me to win and lead.
